Connects Romanian students at universities around the world. Ambassadors bring them together, welcome newcomers, create opportunities to collaborate, and connect their local community to the wider GlobalRomania network.
Students have people in the community they can turn to for guidance, connections, or support whenever they need it.

We connect Romanian students with professionals across our global network who can offer guidance based on their own experience in the same fields and, often, the same countries.
Students get relevant guidance from people who have walked a similar path, with access to a network spanning 300+ cities in 50+ countries.
RoScholars
Through annual scholarships, we help Romanian students in the United States overcome some of the financial barriers that come with studying abroad and focus on their education and professional growth.
This year marked the launch of the Ana Grecu Scholarship, a $2,500 annual scholarship for a student in grades 9–12 at Colegiul Național Silvania in Zalău, where Ana is an alumna.

Led the Romanian and Moldovan Student Association at NYU
Rares joined GlobalRomania as a youth volunteer while leading the Romanian and Moldovan Student Association at NYU. When he graduated from NYU and began looking for his first role, the community had a way to help. One introduction later, and within two weeks, he was connected with Deep Ocean Partners, where he now works.

Knowing more people is a benefit, and caring about where all of this leads is what makes us "us." We want Romania and its diaspora to be more connected, more open to business, and more confident about what it has to offer the world.

Romania can be thousands of kilometres away and still feel close. We create the people, conversations, and reasons to keep that connection alive.
Throughout the year, we create reasons for students to cross paths, online and in person. Our events already happen in Bucharest, Chicago, and New York, and we're gradually bringing them to more cities as the network grows.
